Havanese command the attention of their owner and are eager to please. They also don’t enjoy being left alone for hours at a time. Senior Hearts Rescue and Renewal is the only licensed senior dog rescue organization in Western Pennsylvania. We do not have a shelter or a public facility. ALL of our dogs reside in foster homes in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. We are a 100% volunteer organization. Please respect our volunteers' time. You also have the advantage of knowing that your pet is physically able to "hold it" for several hours at a stretch. In most cases, adult pets are by far easier to housebreak than puppies.
